Born in Bellevue and raised on the Eastside, Tim’s fine dining career began at the age of sixteen in Snoqualmie at The Salish Lodge and Spa followed by The Plateau Club in Sammamish. Tim’s John Howie Restaurant group tenure began in 2002 at Seastar Restaurant and Raw Bar, where he eventually became one of the restaurant’s youngest managers.
In 2009, Chef John Howie recruited Tim to join John Howie Steak’s opening team. Since then, Tim has developed the restaurant’s renowned cocktail program and curated a collection of the finest bourbon and scotch selections to establish John Howie Steak as a premier whiskey destination. Tim is currently pursuing his Master of Whiskey accreditation from the World Masterclass of Whiskey. When Tim is out of the restaurant, he enjoys dining out with his wife Shannon and stepdaughter Riley.
